My visit with Panther Boir

For some reason out of everyone at my school I was chosen to go and visit Panther Boir. When I first landed in Mareng, South Sudan the first thing that it me was the heat! Panther said we should go swimming in the Nile. At first I was nervous because I thought there was crocodiles and stuff in the Nile, but it was fine! After that Panther showed me his school the Sudanese School Fund. All of the kids at the school were super nice and fun to play with! We bought rice at the farmers market and it was amazing. After we ate I was tired because of the jet lag. So I slept on a hard cold floor. It was quite interesting because it took me a while to fall a sleep. Also a chicken was stepping on my face half of the night! I only had time to stay in Sudan one day because I had to get back to school so I said goodbye to all the kids and went back to SB. Before I left they were playing music.

Emmanuels Visit Day 6-7

Since Emmanuel had to leave at 6:00 the next morning, we did what every man dreams of doing on his last day. Sat back, had some quac and pizza, drank root beer, played video games, played basketball, watched TV, and watched movies. The next day I woke up early so I could say goodbye to Emmanuel. I gave him 1 thing to remember me by, The Office season 6.

Emmanuels Visit Day 5

Today me and Emmanuel went to Summerland for lunch. We ate at the Nugget. Emmanuel got the biggest cheese burger I have ever seen!! Then we went to the beach and went boogie boarding. Emmanuel was surprisingly good at it. When we got home, we watched The Office. Emmanuel likes most of the shows I like. Its awesome.

Emmanuels Visit Days 3-4

The reason that I am posting 2 days was because I couldn't post it yesterday because we went to bed super late. On the 3rd day I visited Nathan Anter because I thought that he and Emmanuel would become friends. He and Nathan played video games. Then we slept over at Nathan's and went to bed late so thats why I didn't post yesterday. Today me and Emmanuel went to disney land and went on splash mountain.

He is a really loud screamer!!! That night we watched Austin Powers. I have never seen a man laugh so hard!

Emmanuels visit day 2

Tuesday me and Emmanuel started the day with a quick swim in my pool. Then we played Uncharted 3 on my PlayStation. Then we ate lunch at the Montecito Coffee shop and he got a large chocolate milk shake.

After lunch we went fishing on a fishing boat and Emmanuel caught a 6ft sea bass! Then we went home and watched Transformers 3.

For dinner we went to Los Arroyos and both me and Emmanuel got a bunch of chips of guac. Emmanuel loved how the warm chips felt.

Emmanuel's Visit Day 1

On monday I took Emmanuel to Rusty's Pizza Parlor. He was so shocked that all the pizza was there! Then we went to blenders. When he saw all of the oranges on the wall he asked, "Where do these people get all these oranges?" I got him a strawberry blenders

because it was my favorite and I thought he would like it, Emmanuel loved it! After we got the pizza and the blenders, we went to the pier.

After we ate we went to the Arlington Theatre to see a movie. We saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

After that we ended our day.
